Menaggio Golf Club’s begins with hole 1, one of the best holes of the entire course, down-hill to a sloping fairway and a bunkered green.
Hole 2 is slightly up-hill with the green below one of the most beautiful Casetta of the course, from which it’s possible to overlook hole 3, a medium Par 3 length hole with a triple-bunkered green.
At hole 4 you need to drive downhill and be very accurate on reaching the green slightly positioned on the left.
Hole 5 is quite tricky: the tee relatively up-hill to the fairway, with two hidden bunkers on the right, and the green almost in level with the tee.
Hole 6 begins downhill from the tee, with a wide fairway surrounded by trees.
Hole 7, the longest Par 3 of the entire 18 holes, starts from the lowest point of the course continuing uphill until hole 8 begins, the hole with the longest green and a large Casetta on the right side.
Hole 9 is a challenging hole as it is very important to hit the first shot in the middle of the fairway in order to reach the sloped green.
The second nine holes start with hole 10, a very long and difficult Par 3 hole, with a line of trees and an elevated green backed by the half-way hut Casetta. From the tee of hole 11, hit the drive down-hill to the flat fairway, but pay attention to the bunker positioned in the middle.
Hole 12 has a wide and flat fairway, a green protected by frontal and sided bunkers.
Hole 13, Par 5 with up & down fairway and characterized by an historical fig tree – no words can explain the beauty of this hole!
Hole 14 is a straight hole, easily playable with 3 shots to reach the flat green. At hole 15 players need to play up-hill and longer than it measures, with a bunker on the left hand side and a green that can be seenfrom the tee just in part.
Hole 16 can be described as a roller-coaster: the first part of the fairway goes up-hill and the second part is hidden by a raised land; the green is also elevated from the fairway .
Hole 17, a short Par 4, has the green relatively down-hill from the fairway and protected by the only two small lakes of the entire course.
Hole 18 is the hole that represents most Golf Club Menaggio: is situated nearby the Club House and from the green you can appreciate the fantastic scenery of Lake Como.
